NORTHGATE CARWASH

Description: This project was completed on a very tight time timeline in order to have the carwash operational for the upcoming year. McWilliams Roofing worked diligently and closely with the general contractor to install and blend this concrete tile roof system with the clients vision in mind.

Description: This was a very sensitive project due to the highly emotional yet amazing work done at Safe Passages. We had to work closely with the staff and had to frequently start and stop work, as interviews were being conducted, along with trying to keep the noise involved with the roofing process to a minimum. We are happy to say we were able to finish this project within the time frame and we even donated a portion of this project to help cover budget concerns and constraints from the state.

HIGHLAND PARK APARTMENTS

Size: 86,600 SF (12 buildings)

Description: This reroof project was for the entire apartment complex, including office. The challenges we faced for this particular project included arranging parking locations for tenants while their building was being reroofed, working in a complex that is tight on space and had limited locations for all the equipment necessary, working limited hours for the comfort and convenience of the many tenants and coordinating the reroof process with the office staff and all the tenants different schedules. Fortunately, the McWilliams roofing crew has such a high level of expertise and skill, we were able to finish this project on schedule and with happy customers.

Description: The client for this job knew of McWilliams Roofing’s ability to handle large jobs that required coordination between time of work across multiple trades during installation processes and with an extremely high level of detail throughout the entire installation. We installed a fully adhered 60 mil roof system with a 1.5” Polyisocyanurateinsulation system and a full taper system. Project was completed ahead of schedule and on budget.

FEDEX AIR SHIPPING CENTER

Installation: 22 dry mils of S-2000 with 10 yr. warranty

Description: The owner of this building was looking for a low impact/high warranty product in lieu of reroofing existing EPDM roof due to high volume and 24/7 operation of FedEx at the Colorado Springs Airport. Gaco fit this bill as we were able to install product quickly, quietly and with little to no impact of customers and business operations. The owner received a 10 year warranty upon completion of the job.

MIKADO BISTRO

Installation: Certainteed Landmark, Moire Black in color with synthetic felt, 24 ga. Pittsburg seam rounded canopy

Completion Date: 08-2015

Description: New construction of a restaurant utilizing Feltex 30lb. synthetic felt, Certainteed Swift Start, Shingle Vent II ridge vents, Certainteed Landmark dimensional shingles and prefinished perimeter edge metal. This complete roofing system was installed and coordinated around the construction and with many different trades including HVAC, plumbing and masons, just to name a few, in order to keep shell of building dry during the rainy 2015 summer.

RETAIL SHOPPING CENTER

Description: This is one of the newest retail centers to be built near Bass Pro Shop. This building features multiple restaurants as well as other commercial shop sites. There were multiple levels, towns and walls all requiring a high level of detail, which we were able to take care of efficiently and effectively. The job was completed on time and with outstanding reviews from the general contractor.

PLATTE FLORAL

Installation: Fully Adhered 60 mil EPDM, 24 ga.Kynar coated steel

Size: 4,000 SF

Completion Date: 08-2009

Description: This was a very labor intensive and challenging project due to tight spaces, keeping work environment as low impact as possible and due to the amount of duct work and HVAC units to work around. We had to work diligently and carefully by constantly checking the weather, as we had to maintain a specific temperature in the building at all times to preserve the company’s floral products, all while completing removal and replacement of all duct work and HVAC units as part of the roofing process.

TILE ROOF

Installation: Bartile, New England Slate “stagger pattern w/5-color blend”

Description: This beautiful roof system shows all the best features and characteristics that tile roofs have to offer. We expertly blended 5 colors of tile on the roof and installed with a stagger pattern. This roof stands out as one of the most unique and beautiful roofs we have installed.

Description: McWilliams Roofing worked within general contractor timeline to install complete roof system on schedule. This roof consisted of 5” of Polyisocyanurate insulation to add R-30 insulation value, with mechanically fastened 45 mil Reinforced TPO Class “A” fire rated roof system.

Description: Reroofed large apartment building while coordinating parking areas, A/C concerns and working limited hours for tenants comfort and convenience. Upon removal of existing roof we found roof deck to be in poor condition. To correct this problem and bring roof up to code we installed new 7/16” plywood, a 1.5 lb. EPS full taper system, ¼” Dens Deck and fully adhered 60 mil Class “A” fire rated roof systems. Insulation added and average R-Value of R=24.1 to the roof.

Completion Date: 06-2013

Description: This was a very large project with over 3,250 squares of tear off and installation of Certainteed Landmark asphalt shingles. Within the HOA there were 94 individual homes, which means we had to not only coordinate with the HOA but also with 94 individual homeowners. The project was done efficiently, ahead of schedule and on budget.

ALL SEASONS CAR WASH

Installation: Certainteed Landmark, Fully Adhered 60 mil, 24 ga. Prefinished steel

Size: 9,000 SF

Completion Date: 03-2014

Description: Project consisted of multiple types of roofing being installed in coordination and simultaneously with multiple other trades due to complexity of machines, plumbing and electrical components of a fully automated carwash. Certainteed Landmark shingles were installed on sloped portions of roof with fully adhered 60 mil EPDM at low sloped areas. A 24 gauge prefinished steel facia wrap and vented soffit was also fabricated and installed.
